    If you want to connect your AI Agent to WhatsApp, then it is obvious that you need an AI Agent first. Here, I’m going to show you how you can create a very basic AI Agent. This will help you to create yours easily, and then we’ll move to connecting it to WhatsApp.

    The steps for creating an AI Agent

    Step #1: After logging in to your account in Convocore AI, you’ll see this interface:

    Step #2: To create your AI Agent, just click on New Agent.

    Step #3: You’ll see the following pop-up:

    Step #4: Just enter the name of your AI Agent, then click on Create. You can also choose from templates.

    For this guide, I’m using Customer Support’s template and created my AI Agent called Course Enrollment Assistant.

    Once your AI Agent is created, you’ll see the following screen:

    Step #5: Click on Switch to Canvas View, and it should look like below:

    Step #6: Now you need to add a knowledge base for your AI Agent so that people can chat with your agent. For this, click on Knowlege and click on Add Source:

    Here, you can add Text(Like FAQs), a PDF file, or multiple URLs, and just click on Add Doc:

    I chose a customer support template for my AI Agent, and I added only course pricing to my knowledge base as text.

    After adding the knowledge base, click on Publish. That’s it, your AI Agent is ready.

    Connecting WhatsApp to your AI Agent in Convocore AI

    Now, let’s understand how to connect the AI Agent to WhatsApp:

    Step #1: Click on Channels

    Step #4: Continue and Get Started

    Step #5: Add your business portfolio, if you don’t have one, then you can create one:

    You also need to add a business name, website(or any social media page link), and your country, then click Next.

    Step #6: You will be presented with options to choose an existing Business Account or create a new one. I’m selecting, select Create New Business Account or you can choose your old one it’s up to you. Click Next to proceed.

    Step #7: Enter a name for your WhatsApp Business account and fill other data, then click Next to continue.

    Step #8: Enter the phone number you wish to connect to your WhatsApp Business account and select your country code from the dropdown menu.

    Step 9: Verify Your Phone Number

    1. A verification code will be sent to the phone number you provided via SMS. 2. Enter the received verification code in the provided field. 3. Click Verify to confirm your phone number.

    Step 10: After successful verification, click the Continue button to complete the setup process.

    Step 11: Connect Your Verified Account

    1. Once verified, your WhatsApp Business account will appear in the list with a Connect button underneath it. 2. Click the Connect button to link your account with Convocore AI Agents. 3. After clicking Connect, the status will change to Connected, indicating a successful integration.

    After clicking Connect, the status will change to Connected, indicating a successful integration.

    Step 13: Optional — Test Your Integration

    1. (Optional) Enter your phone number with the country code in the provided field to send a test message. 2. This step is not mandatory, but recommended to ensure the connection is functioning correctly.

    Step #14: Final Confirmation

    1. Open WhatsApp to verify that your Business Account has been successfully registered. 2. You should see a confirmation message indicating that your account is connected.

    Please note that this step may take a few minutes to process.
